Gladus didn’t start in a Silicon Valley office. It started with a plumber who saw problems in his own industry and decided to do something about them.

I’m a contractor by trade, not a software engineer. I know what it’s like to be in the field, solve problems on the fly, manage jobs, work with other trades, and try to run a business at the same time. I also know how much easier this industry could be if the right knowledge, tools, and people were all connected.

Am I coding an entire platform from scratch with a computer science degree? No. I’m a plumber figuring out how to build a technology company, one step at a time. There will be things we get wrong, features that need reworking, and ideas that change along the way.
